Nine songs you should listen
No matter how or what you're feeling, there will always be a song that could describe that. Music is a form of expression therefore i guess most of us agree that music is art because of that.
And is amazing what music can make us feel. That's why i decided to put on list my favorite songs, so you readers, can listen them and probably enjoy at least one or two.
But if you're as me, you'll probably know that making such a little list with my of all time favorite songs makes no sense because it could be a little hard to choose. That's why i decided to write about my favorite love songs. Considering that love is something we've all experienced and that is always a good topic to hear about, i'm going to began writing the actual post.
1. Can't help falling in love - Elvis Presley
One of the most common ones, and yes it's true that it is just a love song. But what a love song! It shows us how much of an inner feeling and instinct love is, summing up the feelings of lovers and describing the mood of love better than any other song. It's one of my favorites because i completely agree with the idea that you can't choose who you fall in love with, that this song has.

2. La vie en Rose - Louis Armstrong
Armstrong version of "La vie en Rose" is pure gold. Jazz and his voice makes everything perfect, plus, the way feelings are put into words is absolutely wonderful. Every line sung with that music makes you feel in love even if you're not. Or am i the only one?

3. Accidentally in Love - Counting Crows
Reinforce the thought that you just can't decide who you fall in love with and that the best way to find love is when you're not searching it. Because it will come along and surprise you.
It's such a happy song actually, definitely something you would like to listen if you're in love. You will really feel it.
But if you are more like those who prefer love songs with a more melancholic melody, i think the youtuber Mia Wray makes an amazing cover you should listen.

4. I'm a Believer - Smash Mouth
If you're part of the kind of people i mentioned earlier, feel free to skip this song, but if you're in the happiest moment of your relationship i would consider it twice before doing it, because you'll probably enjoy this song.
Listening to it makes you want to dance and i've heard that lovers dance when they're feeling in love. Just saying...

5. Your ex-lover is dead - Stars
Well... this definitely breaks with whatever you were expecting from this post. Still, i decided to put it in here because the instrumentation is quite nice and perfect for a love song and also because it is a love song only that this one has a different turn.
This song describes two people who were together long before and who were in love, but now that they saw each other they remembered stuff and can see that everything that happened between them happened for a reason.
Either way, now there's nothing left between they.
I think this song is really nice because it gives us a more realistic view of what love could be, also a view before the passionate feeling that shows us that not always is a big deal as we could imagine.

7. First day of my life - Bright Eyes
This one is my favorite from all. It's such a sweet song! It describes in a wonderful and different way how discovering that you're in love feels. Describing it as if you've been reborn.
This song also carries the thought that love has the ability to transform the way you think and perceive the world. And isn't that true?
Doesn't the world seem a little bit better when you're in love? (Or a little bit worse also, i don't know...) I think so.
And before leaving you and this awesome song alone, just a little advice, if you listen the song while watching the video, you may cry. (It's not like that had happened to me).

8. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
You know what? I think i decided too soon for a favorite. The first time i heard this song it touched me, particularly Buckley's version with that melody, voice and lyrics together are really powerful.
Although "Hallelujah" can describe many different circumstances, i think this song talks about the hardships of love, such as: unmatched interests (Verse 1), unhealthy relationships (Verse 2), the bitterness of love in the probably most black verse ever made (Verse 3), and several more.
Guess all i can say about this song is that (again) it shows us the part not everyone likes to hear about love, al least not when you're in it.
But anyways we'll have to admit that this song is quite optimistic, because after all the hardships haven't defeated him and in the end it is worth it.
Oh little sweet thing!..

9. Cigarette Daydreams - Cage the Elephant
From my point of view? It's a break up song (Yeah, let's end up this post with the happiest song you could find).
From the first lines you can clearly feel the sad vibe of someone breaking up with someone else. Still sometimes is good to hear about the lack of love too, so this is for those ones who like to suffer.

What can we conclude from here?
Well, first of all that apparently i prefer male voices rather than female ones. Also that my tastes have no middle points, i go for the happiest or the saddest songs. But that's not the point.
Either way, there's not a real point in it, the thing here is just to enjoy music. (What can be better than that?)
Cry or dance you decide, but listen with the heart and enjoy the wonderful feeling of love!
