My favorite painter

Imagen
Today I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite painters Leonid Afremov, since seeing his paintings gives me happiness and I could not explain why, but the colors he uses in each painting and his landscapes are unreal and beautiful. He works essentially with a spatula and a very varied color palette where the bright red and yellow tones stand out. He developed his own technique and style that has become unmistakable and difficult to copy, his influence comes from Chagall and Modigliani, although he always tried to give him a style of his own. His paintings are certainly reflections of personal memories and emotions. The artist tries to attract the viewer to feel what he has lived through painting, which is why he always paints various landscapes full of color that produce different emotions in that person who are watching. From my point of view what this artist produces in my darts of his paintings is an emotion and desire to travel and visit each landscape embodied i...

Aerial dance on canvas

Imagen
It is not known exactly where this type of dance is born since this discipline is very recent from the seventies of the XX century, it is said that it can come from a practice inspired in some forms of yoga realized through the use of strings for the presentation of their positions. The Air Dance in Tela consists of the mastery of the body with the air element to the point of working with him in levels of height that allows the execution of sequences, choreographies, figures, pirouettes, balances, etc. It is the result of a process of transformation of different artistic and sports disciplines that combine contemporary dance with circus arts, acrobatics, ballet and theater, where the act or choreography is performed mainly suspended in the air.   It is a discipline that demands a bodily, mental and spiritual relationship as well as a rigorous discipline and constancy, as it combines the aesthetics of dance with physical strength and mental preparation for its developme...

Olivier de Sagazan, the body of art resides in one

Imagen
This incredible artist was born in 1959 in Brazzaville currently lives in France, began with this type of performance in 2001 and thus continued for more than 20 years. The work of Olivier de Sagazan arises from a process of transfiguration in which the artist evokes his own fears and interpretations of mortality to create in himself a living canvas. The method he uses to capture the depths of his being is a fluid mix that goes from performance and video art to sculpture, painting and photography .   This artist what he does is cover his face and body with a mixture of plasticine and paint to later transform, disfigure and undo his own appearance. Through his pieces he seeks to find the most primitive of his being and reveal it in a raw and natural way to provoke a sense of introspection in the viewer. Olivier de Sagazan uses his duality and "lack of origin" to give an imminent transition to the body of his work. "In essence my work is a hymn to life...

Great Allies

Imagen
Dear reader, right now i want you to watch the following picture: Well, how was that? I bet you've seen this work before, but in case you've never had, let me introduce you to the wonderful M.C. Escher and his artwork called "Relativity". Their disturbing visual paradoxes is what captures the attention of the observer at the instant, probably what happened to you. And is that this drawing plays with gravity, which is exerted in three different axes and each one define a different world. That's why different people share a same space without noticing the presence of those ones who are on the other "side". All this mixture in Escher's work, up - down, frontal - side, different dimensions in one image, result tremendously beautiful because of the mathematics it has within it. And  until this point you may be asking Maths? Arts? is that even possible? Well, let me just say that actually, these two are great allies, at least as far as what v...

The New Trainspotting

It’s been 20 years since  Trainspotting  made an impression on people who saw it. The band is back and it feels a lot like nothing has changed, but everything has. What happened to the guys in the past 20 years? How were their lives changed after Renton bailed on them? Will they reconnect after all this time? Well all these questions and more are answered in T2, not Terminator, even though Begbie seems like one. The plot revolves around Mike Renton (Ewan McGregor) coming back to Scotland after 20 years outside the country. Needless to say, his actions aren’t forgotten, even 20 years later. The reunion with Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) doesn’t go as smoothly. The men want their part of the money back, while Sick Boy and Renton once again cook up a scheme, this time their are lead by the sultry Veronika (Anjela Nedyalkova). Not only does Veronika become the object of desire for Sick Boy and Renton, but she’s the driving force ...
